Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

& a birthday

Hey guys! It's been some time since I wrote a journal here — but that's only because so many things have happened. The Google internship ended in the beginning of this month, and ever since that, I've been busy working on my pet project I've talked about before, LeadSingle. During the past couple of months, I set a deadline for myself of September 25th for a public beta launch of LeadSingle, and it launched on that date with a pretty cool response!

In case you've forgot, LeadSingle is my take on the perfect music information database. It's essentially a site where you can follow your favourite music artists and figure out if they've released something new recently or something cool is coming up just around the corner. For a lot of people, including myself, this has been a hard problem in the past. Either we got information about new stuff (relatively) late, when we happened to see it in the record store or hear it on the radio. Or, we wanted to stay up to date, and had a hard time finding just the right place to look for it.

So in case you wanted to know what I'm working on at the moment, that's it. Feel free to sign up and become part of it!

Oh, and it's my birthday today. I'm 21. Thanks for all the well wishes!

P.S.: I hear something's up with SuperdAmn and Firefox. The fix should be simple enough, and I'll get to it as soon as possible. At the very least, this weekend. Hang in there, firefriends!
