It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:
Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang. :D
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

SuperdAmn bug

A brand new SuperdAmn bug was introduced during the past hours; it happens during to the servers where it gets its FAQ informations have been giving out errors for the past hours and the script was accidentally not built to handle that.

I've now fixed the bug in the script; reload dAmn and it should alert you of an update, which you install and then reload dAmn once more. However, the server (not mine) where it gets its FAQ info is still down, and so no FAQ codes are converted at the moment. However, I expect this to be fixed very soon. (And hey, at least you can talk now! :slow: )

Hang in there, install the update, and please please note me if you experience any further problems. I plan to do whatever's possible to limit this bug outbreak. Have a nice and hopefully bug-free day! :B

Edit: FAQ codes should now be back again; please reload dAmn to reload the FAQs.

My apologies about the service disruption, it looks like one of my migration scripts that was moving websites over from the old server to the new had failed to give Apache correct group permissions to a few sites including Incruentatus' CDN, it's all fixed now.
