Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Two Userscript Updates

There's been two updates related to some of my userscripts that I haven't yet managed to tell you guys about.
Deviation Notes has been broken since I found a bug related to tag parsing on dA back in August. However, since the new parser rolled out a week or two ago, notes on deviations now work again. So, if you're a Deviation Notes user, get to it! I want to see notes on deviations again! :eager:

And, a couple of weeks ago I figured out that Comment Collector has been broken for ages because of an oversight in some of my code. This is why many people have had problems viewing or adding comments and generally the script has been acting awkwardly. However, when I figured out about this, I fixed it and I'm happy to say that it too works 100% now. Please make sure you have the newest version if you have it installed.
That's it for status updates! Plainly just some FYIs.

One last thing: If any of you have experienced buggy animated GIFs using the new Firefox 3.6 (and thus this affecting animated emoticons and avatars etc.) like I have, I searched around for this bug and I figured out that it's fixed in the newest alpha version of 3.7, so the Firefox guys are on it! Hang in there!

Yeah, the Firefox 3.6 gif rendering issue is very annoying. I read something really quickly about a way you can fix it, but I might just wait for the 3.7 release. I like to keep my Firefox as 'normal' as possible, and I don't need to be messing with nightly's :lol:

But yeah, saw that bug a while ago, and noted that it's fixed in 3.7. Just waiting for them to push a bug fix to the live versions.
