This year is almost gone. How has it been?
The year we all know as 2009 is almost over, and it's been a pretty good one. And I can say that because I have two ways of measuring the awesomeness of this past year, both included in this journal: One that shows how good
all of you think it has been, and one that shows
all the fun stuff I've made during the year.
The former of those two will be familiar to my devoted awesome devwatchers. They've tirelessly answered poll after poll every month, giving a
thumbs up or
thumbs down on their general situation on that first day in the month. So, let's have a look at how it went down!
All in all, on average every month was
72.5% thumbs up and
27.5% thumbs down. I'd call that a pretty amazing year! You guys have obviously had a blast, and the happiest month was June with
80% thumbs up.
Someone's had a good summer.
The chart doesn't seem to be low in the "normal" final/exam months, so you guys don't seem to have let that make your mind gloomy.
Since this is a personal journal, I'll also use it to talk a little bit about
my year: It's also been a really good year for me; I've done some cool things and had some very amazing opportunities for which I am very grateful. In the below I am trying to visualise all the things that has happened to me during the past 365 days. And thus, there are monthly calendars for each month.

So yeah, to sum up this huge journal: it's been an amazing year for me and I hope it has for you too. Even though it sounds so stinkingly cliché, I want to thank all of you for your support during the year. I wish all y'all the happiest of new years!
